In support of the Ministry of Public Health efforts to combat the “Corona emerging” pandemic, the Kuwait Oil Company handed over the entire facilities of the old Ahmadi Hospital (Southwell Hospital) to the Al-Adan Hospital administration department to receive visitors there

Acting director of Al-Ahmadi Hospital, Dr. Mubarak Al-Ajmi, and Head of the Pediatric Department at the hospital, Dr. Faisal Al-Kandari, attended the handover ceremony as well as Al-Adan Hospital director, Dr. Tariq Dashti, Director of the Al-Adan Health Area Badr Al-Anzi, and Head of the Pediatric Department, Dr. Salman Al-Twala.

According to the agreement between the two sides, Al-Adan Hospital, through its own staff, will manage all wards, outpatient clinics, accident department, in addition to the administrative departments, for six months, subject to renewal, until the completion of the new building of Al-Adan Hospital.

This step comes as part of permanent cooperation between KOC and the Ministry of Health, which resulted in many successful projects and initiatives, most notably the establishment of KOC field hospital in Mishref, and the establishment of a new drive-thru center vaccination at Sheikh Jaber Bridge.
